Overview
I'm developing a suite of visual ophthalmic tests in virtual reality to better understand visual perception. Working with NASA, the goal is a VR platform for monitoring eye health in microgravity to better understand Spaceflight-Associated Neuro-Ocular Syndrome (SANS).
What I'm building
- A visual field test in virtual reality, combined with other common ophthalmologic tests in VR to evaluate the eye health of astronauts.
- A Vision Suite of tests being implemented in the UNR Student Outreach Clinic as a feasibility study, including IRB submission.
